Discussion Board: Chapter 9 - Supporting Adult Learners
In this chapter Elena reviews some theory about adult learning and discusses some of the common challenges that coaches face in designing learning opportunities. Please answer the following questions and respond to at least one other person's post.
1. Elena references the work of Malcolm Knowles and the seven principles for working with adult learners on pages 188-194. As you read the principles, did any stand out to you? Did any surprise you? Were there any you disagreed with? Share any initial thoughts you had.
